Laurence is an experienced international CEO and senior executive in Industrial and Consumer products, implementing large scale business transformations, turnaround of performance of challenged businesses and development and execution of sustainable growth strategies.

 

Laurence is the Chair of the Board and the Chair of the People Committee of NGO FAIRTRADE INTERNATIONAL advising the organisation on strategy and building sustainable food supply strategies. She is a Non-Executive Director of the Board of TRAVEL SENTRY, the global leader in branded luggage security, where she provides international B2B marketing & sales strategy experience.

In 2022 Laurence consulted with CARR'S GROUP Plc, Specialty Agriculture, to prepare their 5-year strategic plan. From 2016 to 2019, Laurence supported the leading provider of sausage casings, DEVRO Plc, in accelerating global business transformation, restructuring global plastic casing activity and restoring growth with a focus on Eastern Europe, Western Europe, China, Russia and Africa.

From 2014 to 2016, she consulted with US-based INSIGNIAM Management Consultants, helping CEOs of global businesses and their teams implement change strategies. She worked with companies such as Wessanen, Sodexo, GSK, Faurecia and AutoZone Mexico. In 2013 she ran the tripartite post-merger integration program at D.S. SMITH Plc in Western Europe, following the company's acquisition of both SCA Packaging and OTOR Packaging. In 2011, Laurence executed a turnaround plan for the European division of PREGIS Packaging Corporation (owned by private equity AEA). Between 2011 and 2014, she advised NOTBOX - a reusable packaging and logistics solutions start-up for the apparel industry - on strategy and sales development in Europe.

 

Laurence also served as Managing Director for LINPAC-Allibert - a global industrial packaging manufacturer, part of the Linpac Group owned by Montagu private equity- between 2006 and 2010. During her tenure, she led the transformation of the family-owned business into a professional marketing world class performer, delivering returnable-packaging solutions and supply chain services to retail and industrial clients around the globe.

She brings 16 years of fast-moving consumer-goods industry experience, as President of SARA LEE Household & Body Care Products for Spain, Portugal and France from 2000 to 2005. At Sara Lee, Laurence delivered growth through fast-paced product innovation and excellent in-store implementation of product launches, promotions and customer service. Before Sara Lee, Laurence spent ten years at MARS Snack Foods Europe in varied senior management positions, including Business Innovation, Product Licensing, Duty Free Development and Purchasing of Packaging.​

Laurence has an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from ESCP-Europe
